Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Product Officer

Mark is the founder, CEO and chief product officer of Zynga. He founded the company in 2007 with a mission of connecting the world through games, and in founding zynga.org, he also believes that games can do good

On his way to creating Zynga, Mark started three companies. In 2003, he launched Tribe.net, one of the first social networks. Before that, he founded Support.com, a pioneer in automating tech support, and took it public. In 1995, he launched FreeLoader, the first web-based consumer push company. Mark started his career in new media and venture capital before he discovered his calling as a consumer technology entrepreneur. Mark also made founding investments in Napster, Brightmail, Twitter and Facebook.

Mark graduated summa cum laude from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is an angel investor in multiple Silicon Valley startups and regularly gives lectures to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Chief Technology Officer

Cadir oversees the development and innovation of the companyʼs technology platform and large-scale infrastructures. He manages the analytics, network operations, security, and India operations teams. Before joining Zynga, he spent 11 years as the CTO of Support.com, an online technology support company he co-founded with Zynga founder Mark Pincus. Prior to that, he spent two years as an engineering consultant for Hewlett Packard. Cadir got his start as an entry-level programmer at SpaceWorks, a technology company in Washington, D.C.

Cadir earned his bachelorʼs degree in biology and music and graduated with honors and distinction at Stanford University.

Barry brings over 20 years of experience within technology, games and entertainment to his role at Zynga, building and leading business and corporate initiatives. Prior to joining Zynga, Barry was executive vice president of EA Interactive, where he oversaw digital gaming properties including mobile, social and casual online games. Prior to EA, Barry held various executive roles, including: CEO of Quickoffice Inc, COO of the Wireless and Content division at Palm Computing Inc., as well as chief internet officer at Palm. He served as SVP of marketing at Disney Televentures and CMO of Americast for The Walt Disney Company. Barry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri State University, where he earned a B.S. in information services and mathematics. He received an MBA with honors from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

From the beginning, Colleen wanted to build a large-scale company and community inside Zynga, where each employee could build a real career.

Colleen brings more than a decade of experience to her role as Chief People Office of Zynga, where she is responsible for recruiting, retaining and managing talent and for fostering a culture of creativity. She took the company from 130 to 3000 people in just three years – the fastest growing technology company in the Silicon Valley. Colleen built a deep culture rooted in core values including: Be CEO own outcomes, meritocracy level-up, innovate and build games you and your friends love to play.

Prior to Zynga, Colleen spent five years at Electronic Arts where she was the global corporate human resources director and built Electronic Arts’ first company-wide diversity initiative and university relations program. Before that, Colleen spent seven years at Microsoft as a senior technical recruiter and technical support manager.

Colleen earned a bachelors’ degree in mass communication and public relations at Boston University and an Master of Arts in higher education administration at Columbia University.

Her favorite Zynga game is FarmVille, as it reminds her of the time she spent as a member of 4-H growing up.

Dave leads the finance, strategy and corporate development teams at Zynga. Prior to joining Zynga, Dave was a managing director at Allen & Company, where he had worked since 2001. There, he led corporate finance teams responsible for capital raises and M&A transactions with a focus on the firmʼs Silicon Valley clients. Dave was also involved extensively with Allen & Companyʼs principal investing activity, and sponsored the firmʼs investments in a number of technology companies.

Prior to joining Allen & Company, Dave worked as the VP of corporate development for an e-commerce startup and at the technology-focused investment banking firm Hambrecht & Quist (now part of JP Morgan) where he was involved in numerous M&A and financing transactions. Earlier in his career, Dave worked as a strategy consultant with the global consulting firm Monitor Company where he worked extensively throughout Asia. Dave earned a B.S. in chemistry from Georgetown University and an M.S. in applied physics from Stanford University where he was a National Science Foundation fellow.

David is responsible for leading Zyngaʼs mobile business globally. As Zyngaʼs mobile chief, he oversees all strategy, product development, engineering, business development and monetization activities for the business.

Prior to Zynga, David spent 10 years at Yahoo! where he was senior vice president of Yahoo!ʼs audience, mobile and local businesses. As part of this role, he led all aspects of

Yahoo!ʼs global mobile business, and spearheaded the companyʼs initiatives in the local space. He also managed Yahoo!ʼs media properties including Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! Finance and Yahoo! Entertainment. Prior to this, David served as vice president for Yahoo!ʼs mobile business in Asia Pacific. David graduated with a B.S. in accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

John Schappert

With over 20 years of experience running games and studios of all sizes, John is responsible for the companyʼs day-to-day operations, including Zyngaʼs game studios, mobile division and administrative functions. Before joining Zynga, John was chief operating officer of Electronic Arts, responsible for Worldwide Publishing, the Online Platform Group, EA Interactive, Central Development services, and other divisions of the company. Prior to EA, John worked at Microsoft as corporate vice president and led the LIVE, Software, and Services division of the Interactive Entertainment business, where he oversaw Xbox LIVE and Xbox software (Microsoft Games Studios, Games for Windows). Before joining Microsoft, John worked in various executive positions at Electronic Arts from vice president in 1998 (joining through the acquisition of Tiburon Entertainment, a company he co-founded in 1994) to executive vice president in 2007.

Mike is incredibly passionate about bringing interactive entertainment to the broadest audience and connecting the world through games. He has key credits on video games that have sold more than 20 million copies. Prior to joining Zynga, Mike was the general manager of EA Los Angeles where he managed three major franchises: Command & Conquer, Medal of Honor and The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth. Mike also served as a co-studio head at Atari and co-founder and CEO of Legend Entertainment Company. Mike attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he studied computer science.

Owen Van Natta

Owen Van Natta is responsible for the company's revenue strategy, corporate development, international expansion, and brand. Prior to joining Zynga, Owen was consulting for the company across a number of critical business functions. Owen is also a member of the Zynga Board of Directors.

Most recently, Van Natta served as chief executive officer of MySpace where he was responsible for all aspects of the companyʼs strategic vision and the execution of its global business initiatives. Owen joined the MySpace team after serving as chief executive officer of Project Playlist, a music sharing website allowing users to search for music, create custom playlists, and share the content with friends. Prior to Project Playlist, Van Natta was the chief operating officer at Facebook, where he focused on revenue operations, business development, and strategic partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Owen was vice president of worldwide business and corporate development at Amazon.com, where he managed global marketing programs and strategic partnerships. He was part of the founding team of A9.com, the Amazon.com search company, and was responsible for site operations and sponsored-link advertising. Owen holds a bachelorʼs degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Reggie is responsible for all aspects of the companyʼs legal affairs and corporate counsel. Prior to Zynga, Reggie spent 9 1⁄2 years at Yahoo! where he served as an associate general counsel and led operations teams in the companyʼs display and search listings marketplace. He worked closely on Yahoo!ʼs quality and security initiatives, such as click fraud litigation, and contributed to founding the companyʼs first information security committee. Reggie spent ten years as a partner at Hancock Rothert & Bunshoft (now Duane Morris LLP). Reggie received his bachelorʼs degree in European history and sociology with honors from Harvard University and a J.D. from Tulane University Law School.

Steve brings 17 years of gaming experience to his role at Zynga as a leader in building and scaling teams around development and operations. Steve previously spent 15 years at Electronic Arts where he was most recently the senior vice president and group general manager for EA SPORTS. Steve oversaw Madden NFL, one of the all-time bestselling video game franchises in North America. Under his tenure, EA SPORTS developed many of its most popular sports titles, including NCAA Football, FIFA Soccer, NBA LIVE, and NHL. Steve worked with the web teams to re-launch EASPORTS.com and create Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online. Steve was a co-founder of Tiburon Entertainment, which was acquired by Electronic Arts in 1998. Steve graduated from Columbia University with a degree in electrical engineering.

Jeff has served in other executive roles across various industries, including CEO of MEVIO, a digital media entertainment network and VP of marketing for Wilson Sporting Goods. Jeff received a B.S. in business from Arizona State University.
